Well the book seems fine for the edition that it was made for I’m in the class at the college I attend and its working out fine farely easy to read if you’ve read a manual like this for a comp class before. But theres newer versions of CAD and the manual out there.

This text makes an extremely complex software understandable. It’s almost like the authors have taken every question a student has ever asked and provided a clear explanation. Full of computer screen captures with highlighted callouts. Most pages have highlighted Tips and Notes. Text is in two colors to help identify important points and organization. Sidebars list multiple ways to accomplish task. Important vocabulary is in bold. Exercises include exact order of how to complete, including the written prompts and your required response. Includes exercises for all disciplines. Features new to AutoCAD 2006 are starred which gives readers who are using an older version of AutoCAD relief and confidence to know which limited sections do not correspond to the software they are using.
